From 10.06.2026-27.06.2026, the gallery hosts exhibition of TalTech architecture graduate theses.
On the evening of Wednesday, June 10, the Design and Architecture Gallery (Pärnu mnt 6, Tallinn) will open an exhibition of TalTech architecture degree theses, which will remain open until June 27.
In June 2026, 17 master’s theses were defended at TalTech’s Academy of Architecture and Urbanism, about half of which are on display in full at the exhibition. The remaining works are presented in the form of a thesis folder. A master’s thesis is a project prepared over the course of one semester and is the culmination of studies in the five-year integrated curriculum “Architecture”. Each master’s thesis consists of a comprehensive research part and a project, which are presented both graphically and in the form of a model.
The works presented at the exhibition reflect the understanding that today’s challenges cannot be solved within the boundaries of a single field. Valuing existing buildings, landscapes and resources is intertwined with questions about communities and welfare, highlighting the role of spatial creation in shaping broader social processes.
