WHAT’S ON

From 4.07.2025 to 2.08.2025, the gallery hosts Liina Viira’s solo exhibition.

In recent years, Liina Viira has been immersed in the act of making — so much so, that the creations gathering quietly around her began to call for a release, both in space and in spirit. The outlet is a new clothing collection and solo exhibition. The more one makes, the more new thoughts and ways of doing things are born— thoughts unravel, hands learn, and methods evolve. This collection is not a final destination, more of a stopover along the way. A moment’s glance at an ongoing dialogue with material, shape, and meaning.

ARGI meaning ordinary or mundane in English, refers to the regular, non-festive rhythm of daily life. Viira asks: Does the everyday really have to be modest? If an object serves its purpose, then its decorations feel like well-earned badges of honour. When we reserve special things only for festive occasions, we reinforce the idea that everyday life is somehow unremarkable. But life, after all, is mostly made up of a sequence of ordinary moments.Viira encourages everyone to adorn and shape their everyday.
